- 5/16" diameter NF-SAE (24 threads per inch) hex thread-restoring tap (1-5/8" long)
- You can use a 3/8" wrench or socket to run rethreading tap into threaded hole
- Rethreading tap will not crosscut or undercut the thread the way a cutting tap will
- NOTE: Photo shows 1/4"-28 tpi and 9/16"- 18 tpi taps as examples.
